Etiënne Dijkhorst will join NewGround Law as a partner as of April 1, 2023
As of April 1, 2023, Etiënne Dijkhorst, currently counsel at De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek, will join NewGround Law as a partner. He will, together with notary Cynthia de Witt Wijnen, lead and further grow the real estate (notarial) transaction and advisory practice.
Etiënne has extensive experience in the real estate practice as a candidate civil-law notary. Dutch multinationals are among his regular clients, and he regularly advises other corporates, national and international institutional investors and prominent private equity funds on leading real estate transactions and M&A transactions with a significant real estate component. In addition, Etiënne has experience in advising on and the structuring of legally complex projects of renewable energy such as the development, purchase and sale of wind and solar farms.
Etiënne obtained his master’s degrees in Dutch Law (private law) and Notarial Law at the University of Groningen. He did part of his studies in Stockholm and, before he started at De Brauw in 2010, he studied several months in Berlin at the Goethe-Institut.
