Sofie deals with civil law matters within the real estate domain, including litigating, advising, conducting due diligence, and supervising (sale-and-lease-back) transactions. She has experience in drafting (turnkey) purchase agreements, lease agreements and procedural documents.
Sofie has been working as a lawyer at NEWGROUND since April 2020. She graduated cum laude from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam in August 2019, with a master’s degree in Conflict Management, Jurisprudence and Mediation. Before that, she worked at deBreij, a boutique law firm in the field of corporate law, and she worked as an external clerk at the Amsterdam District Court. She also did an internship at Loyens and Loeff in Amsterdam.
