Pieter van der Woerd advises and litigates in matters related to general administrative (procedural) law, spatial planning law, nature conservation law and environmental law. Pieter’s clients include (semi) public authorities and commercial parties, including developers and (institutional) investors.
Pieter graduated in law from Leiden University in 2014, where he obtained a Master’s degree in Constitutional and Administrative Law and a Master’s degree in Civil Law.
Pieter joined NewGround Law in 2019, having previously worked at Stibbe and NautaDutilh.
Pieter was admitted to the Bar in January 2015 and is a member of the Administrative Law Association [Vereniging voor Bestuursrecht] and the Construction Law Association [Vereniging voor Bouwrecht].
In 2020 Pieter successfully completed the VMA/Grotius postgraduate specialization course in Environmental Law.
