Julian Schouten completed a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Master’s in International Public Law at the University of Amsterdam (UvA), as well as a second Master’s in International Business Law: Climate Change and Corporations at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU). Julian has been affiliated with NewGround Law since September 2023 and was sworn in as an attorney-at-law on 28 February 2024. He advises and represents clients in environmental and energy law, with a particular focus on and interest in sustainable energy projects such as wind and solar farms, geothermal energy, and battery storage.
