Chanym earned her master’s degree in law from VU University Amsterdam with criminal law as her major. Her master’s thesis entitled “Criminal law as the optimum remedy in the enforcement of environmental crime” was rated 9.
In 2022, Chanym gained experience at NewGround Law as a legal trainee and in 2023 she returned as an attorney-at-law. Chanym focuses on environmental and energy law.
